I'm perfectly capable of taking care of living things. My horses have always been in the prime of health.

In any case, I have no need for an indoor pet. Or any type of pet.

you can't generalize like that, horses are a totally different beast than a dog

how are you with ferrets? snakes? succulents??

I take very good care of succulents and other pets. Why, my gardens are always spotless and free of weeds!

In any case, I fail to see how plants factor into the equation. They're far cleaner, and much less annoying.
